About The Position

Transport patients, specimens and pharmaceutical goods throughout the Medical Center. Maintain rolling stock, wheelchairs and stretchers.

Requirements

• High School or Equivalent required.

Responsibilities

• Transports patients, specimens and pharmaceutical goods throughout Medical center. Assigned transports are completed safely, efficiently and within established time frames.
• Routinely collects and maintains wheelchairs and stretchers (including cleaning). Rolling stock is clean and operational.
• Maintains clerical records as needed. Log sheets are completed accurately and timely.
• Maintains and operates pneumatic tube system when necessary. Completes transfers of pneumatic tube timely and efficiently. 100% compliance to departmental standards.
• Perform related duties as required. Assistance is provided in emergency situations on a timely and reliable basis.
