About The Position
Soin Medical Center is seeking a Full Time Transporter/EKG Tech for their First Shift. This role involves escorting and transporting patients safely and with respect for privacy, as well as conducting Non-Invasive cardiology studies (EKG's) upon order. Kettering Health is a not-for-profit system of 14 medical centers and more than 120 outpatient facilities serving southwest Ohio, with a mission to live God’s love by promoting and restoring health and a commitment to providing exceptional care where safety is the top priority.
Requirements
- High School Dipoloma or equivalent
- BLS/CPR certificate
- Holiday rotation and call rotation required.
Responsibilities
- Escorts/ Transports patients to/from nursing units, treatment and diagnostic areas safely and with respect for privacy and confidentiality as assigned.
- Correctly identifies patient, safely transports via wheelchair, cart or bed to the requested destination.
- Recognizes their limitations, and obtains additional information and assistance as needed.
- Upon order, does technical work in the conducting of Non-Invasive cardiology studies (EKG's)on all patients.
