JMT's Construction Management Team is looking for a Transportation Technician I to perform inspections on transportation projects in North Carolina. This role will ensure quality, safety, and conformance to plans and specifications during and after construction. Immigration sponsorship is not available, except for TN visa candidates. Opportunities are available statewide in North Carolina.
Requirements
- Apply standard inspection procedures on ongoing activities, in the state of North Carolina, during and after construction for quality, safety and conformance to plans and specifications.
Responsibilities
- Perform inspection of contractor’s operations on a variety of transportation projects including roadway and bridge construction to verify conformance to plans and specifications.
- Performs routine material testing
- Measure and track quantities of pay items
- Gathers and maintains record documents including material certifications, testing reports, and inspector’s daily diaries
- Perform other related duties as assigned
