About The Position

Schneider is seeking a Transportation Team Leader in Manteca to oversee inbound and outbound activities at a distribution center. The role leads logistics associates and identifies, develops, and executes continuous improvements for customers. The position is onsite at a warehouse.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in transportation, logistics, or a related field, or equivalent work experience.
• 2–4 years of previous supply chain, logistics, or transportation experience.
• Excellent leadership skills.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.
• Experience with Microsoft Office applications.
• Ability to work onsite at a warehouse.
• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs.

Responsibilities

• Coach and mentor a team of logistics associates.
• Manage the distribution center transportation budget, including reviewing all charges.
• Resolve transportation and shipping issues and communicate actions taken with customers.
• Coordinate and implement continuous improvement processes.
• Build professional relationships with internal and external customers.
• Report performance metrics.
