About The Position

We’re looking for a Transportation Support Specialist to safely transport patients to and from medical appointments, treatments, and other destinations. You’ll also help with patient care activities, making sure they’re safe, supported, and on schedule.

Requirements

• Valid driver’s license and a clean driving record
• High school diploma or equivalent
• CPR certification
• Good organizational skills and the ability to handle multiple tasks
• Comfortable using technology (training provided if needed)

Nice To Haves

• Experience in transportation or healthcare

Responsibilities

• Safely drive patients to medical appointments, treatments, and other locations.
• Do daily checks on vehicles to ensure they’re safe and ready to use.
• Handle patient belongings during admissions, visitation, and discharge.
• Help keep track of patient activities and document behavior.
• Manage safety concerns and report any transportation issues to supervisors.
• Work with other departments about patient admissions, discharges, and transfers.
• Take on other duties when transportation needs are low.
