About The Position

The Transportation Supervisor will oversee the daily logistics, personnel, and fleet operations of the Data Center. This role involves coordinating transportation operations throughout the data center campus, managing drivers and schedules, planning vehicle maintenance, managing the fuel program, and overseeing driver training. The supervisor will also be responsible for tracking in-bound/out-bound transit loads, enforcing safety regulations, and resolving logistical issues. The position is full-time and located in Clarksville, TN within the Solutions division.

Requirements

• Must have a high school diploma or general education degree (GED).
• 2 years’ experience in a leadership role involving logistics or equivalent combination of education and work experience.
• Must be able to work in unregulated temperatures within the warehouse during the warmer and colder months can range from mild to moderate.
• Basic knowledge of WMS (Warehouse Management Systems).
• Proficiency in MS Office applications.
• English (reading, writing, verbal).
• Excellent communications skills.
• General understanding of the Supply Chain Management and Logistics industry.

Responsibilities

• Coordinating transportation operations throughout the data center campus including pick-ups/transfers between facilities.
• Managing the data center drivers and driver schedules.
• Planning routine maintenance and repairs on box trucks and ensuring vehicles are properly maintained.
• Manage the fuel program.
• Manage data center driver training.
• Tracking in-bound/out-bound transit loads.
• Enforcing safety regulations.
• Resolving any logistical issues.
• Performs other duties as assigned.
