About The Position

Transportation Supervisor – Adult Day Health Bilingualism in Spanish / English Required for this role Join our caring team at the Renaissance Adult Day Health Center, where we provide compassionate, community-based care for older adults and individuals with disabilities. As the Transportation Supervisor, you’ll ensure safe, reliable transportation for our participants — and help keep our operations running smoothly every day.

Requirements

Valid Massachusetts Driver’s License and clean driving record.
Ability to pass a background check and drug test.
High school diploma (or equivalent).
3+ years of driving experience
Bilingualism in Spanish required for this role.

Nice To Haves

supervisory experience preferred.
Experience working with the elderly or disabled population preferred.

Responsibilities

Oversee the daily operations of the transportation department.
Manage the department budget, including fuel tracking and vendor coordination for maintenance and repairs.
Ensure compliance with all DOT requirements, including licensing, registrations, and inspections.
Maintain the van fleet in safe, clean, and efficient working order.
Supervise and train a team of drivers to provide excellent service and safety.
Develop and manage employee schedules and client pick-up/drop-off routes.
Coordinate special outings, medical appointments, and field trips.
Step in to transport participants when needed.
Collaborate with other departments to ensure smooth daily operations.
