About The Position
Supervise daily operations of the Transportation Shop, including the maintenance and repair of University Fleet Vehicles, equipment, trailers, and buses.
Requirements
- Knowledge of DOT regulations
- Basic knowledge of shop operations
- Basic mechanical skills
- Basic computer skills
- Effective oral and written communication
- Professional in appearance and presentation
- Personnel management skills
- Must be a born-again Christian who has a personal relationship with Jesus Christ.
- Must agree with and affirm the Bob Jones University creed, mission, and core biblical doctrines.
- Employees are expected to maintain a conservative lifestyle and support Bob Jones University’s positions on issues such as beverage alcohol and addictive substances, creation, marriage and human sexuality and the sanctity of life.

Responsibilities
- Maintaining fleet vehicles
- Supervising technicians
- Troubleshooting vehicle and equipment problems
- Determining vehicle rotation schedule
- Determining vehicle service and maintenance schedule
- Maintaining DOT and DMV paperwork on all vehicles and drivers
- Additional duties as assigned by manager
