About The Position

John Knox Village is seeking a dynamic and experienced part-time Transportation Supervisor to provide safe and friendly transportation throughout the John Knox Village community, as well as the greater tri-county community. John Knox Village is a not-for-profit Life Care Retirement Community offering a full range of independent living, assisted living and skilled nursing care options for more than 1,000 senior residents on our 70-acre campus, located in Pompano Beach, convenient to major highways and transportation options. Requirements

Valid Florida Driver's license and a clean driving record
3+ years of passenger driving experience
Someone who likes being a part of a team; contributes as an active team member
A flexible schedule with the ability to work weekends and holidays
An all-around problem solver: someone who works well and can make important decisions under pressure

Nice To Haves

CDL license with passenger endorsement preferred
Prior supervisory experience a plus
Prior experience working in a healthcare setting a plus

Responsibilities

Supervising the Security and Transportation department
Helping with scheduling
Assists in hiring, supervising, evaluating and coaching employees
Documents emergencies, shift issues and incidents
Monitors residents' needs are being met for transportation requests and other needs
Monitors events and activities on campus
Ensures the safety and well-being of our residents
