About The Position

The Transportation Supervisor will be responsible for overseeing daily delivery operations, including planning and scheduling driver schedules, managing routes, and ensuring timely deliveries. This role fosters an environment that promotes employee engagement and values motivation. The supervisor will ensure quality standards and productivity goals are met by monitoring driver performance, analyzing KPIs, and addressing performance gaps. Compliance with policies, regulations, and safety standards (DOT, OSHA, etc.) is crucial, involving safety audits and staying current on regulatory changes. Daily route adjustments will be made to balance delivery schedules, customer demands, service hours, and workload. Establishing and maintaining positive customer relationships through communication and collaboration is also a key responsibility. Other projects or duties may be assigned.

Requirements

Associates Degree with 3 to 4 plus years of related experience and 0 to 1 plus years supervisory experience
High School Diploma/General Education Degree (GED) with 5 plus years of specific experience and 1 to 2 plus years of supervisory experience
Successful completion of a background check and drug screening

Coordinate and adjust driver routes daily to balance delivery schedules, customer demands, service hours, and workload, ensuring accurate and timely deliveries
Establish and maintain positive customer relationships internally and externally through regular communication collaboration to improve delivery efficiency and meet overall business objectives
