About The Position
This position is responsible for managing the daily operations for inpatient transportation within the hospital and administrative functions to assure accuracy and patient flow in accordance with hospital standards.
Requirements
- High School Diploma required
- Strong customer service and problem escalation/resolution in a similar environment
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Prior supervisory experience
- Good computer skills
Nice To Haves
- College degree preferred
Responsibilities
- Assigns and completes follow-up with patient logistics messengers
- Trains new staff on transport procedures
- Monitors workflow to maintain standards of transport through out the hospital facility
- Reviews, assists and addresses customer service complaints
- Prepares and updates policies and procedures
- Prepares Transport EPIC reports
