Schedule Details : Start times vary from 0600-1100 Monday through Friday depending on needs. Shifts run about 8 hours depending on workloads and service demands. About Us: ProHealth Care’s Transportation Services department supports the organization’s materials deliveries to our hospitals and clinics throughout Waukesha County. Additionally, it provides transportation services to our patient population and includes some surrounding community initiatives for certain area healthcare facilities. Requirements

  • High school diploma or equivalent.
  • Valid WI driver's license with acceptable driving record.
  • At least 21 years of age or older.
  • At least three years driving experience with a safe driving record.
  • Experience in driving a full size van (15 passenger), para-transit bus, and/or cube truck with lift gate.
  • Knowledge of/or experience in the field of traffic safety.
  • Knowledge and experience driving in Waukesha and several surrounding southeastern WI counties.
  • First Aid Certification OR ability to obtain within 90 days of hire.
  • Demonstrated experience providing superior customer service.

Responsibilities

  • Provides quality, safe, specialized patient transportation using hospital lift equipped vehicles for non-ambulatory, non-emergent services, and specially equipped mini vans for ambulatory patient and cargo style vehicles for bulk material supply transport/deliveries within a seven county service area.
  • Utilizes GPS/navigation/transportation software on a wireless communication device (smartphone) for critical and routine communications with clients/customers and dispatching team members.
  • Enters daily driving activity into an automated scheduling system.
  • Performs tasks related to vehicle maintenance and safety checks to ensure an environment that promotes continuous quality improvement, reflects and treats each individual with respect and compassion - the way they should be treated.
