The Cedars of Chapel Hill is an upscale retirement community seeking a part-time Transportation Specialist/Driver. This role is crucial for providing safe, reliable, and courteous transportation to Members, both for scheduled appointments and on-demand requests within the campus and the greater Chapel Hill/Durham area. The specialist ensures Members reach their destinations safely and on time, maintaining a professional and warm demeanor. Responsibilities extend to conducting routine vehicle inspections, maintaining vehicle cleanliness, and coordinating basic maintenance. Success requires excellent customer service, time management, organizational skills, flexibility, and the ability to remain calm and efficient in a fast-paced environment. Responsibilities

• Provide safe, reliable, and courteous transportation to Members.
• Accommodate scheduled appointments and on-demand transportation requests.
• Ensure Members arrive at their destinations safely and on time.
• Maintain a warm and professional demeanor during interactions with Members.
• Conduct routine vehicle inspections.
• Maintain vehicle cleanliness and appearance.
• Assist with the coordination of basic vehicle maintenance needs.
