About The Position

Ulteig is seeking a Transportation Senior BIM Specialist to support the Transportation department in design technology, digital delivery, and project execution. This role is the primary technical resource for Bentley Transportation software and advances standards, workflows, training, and technology adoption across the Transportation practice. This role partners with Transportation leadership, project teams, Product Operations, and IT to improve project delivery processes, promote consistency, and support infrastructure projects. It helps shape digital delivery through training, mentoring, and continuous improvement.

Requirements

Degree in Engineering Technology, Construction Management, or related field
5+ years using Bentley platforms
2+ years in BIM/CAD leadership
Strong technical and communication skills
Strong mentoring and collaboration abilities
Experience working across teams
Self-motivated and detail-oriented
Comfortable in a fast-paced environment
Ability to travel occasionally
Demonstrates openness to innovation by embracing and applying evolving technology and AI tools to enhance workflows, solve problems, and drive continuous improvement.
Must have authorization to work permanently in the U.S.

Responsibilities

Lead and optimize Bentley Transportation software, including MicroStation, OpenRoads, and OpenBridge
Maintain workspaces, templates, and project delivery tools
Coordinate software deployments, testing, and upgrades
Evaluate emerging technologies to improve delivery outcomes
Promote model-based workflows and best practices
Identify automation and integration opportunities
Stay current on DOT and industry trends
Serve as a subject matter expert
Develop and improve design standards and workflows
Maintain templates, seed files, and design libraries
Ensure compliance with DOT and client standards
Partner with QA/QC teams to improve deliverables
Support digital delivery strategies
Create documentation and user guides
Assist with automation initiatives
Develop and deliver Bentley software training programs
Conduct onboarding and workshops
Create training materials and job aids
Mentor designers and engineers on workflows
Promote continuous learning
Attend industry events to bring back best practices
Support project standards and client coordination
Assist with design, drafting, and detailing
Support project setup and execution planning
Resolve design and coordination issues
Serve as an escalation point for software issues
