About The Position

This position will develop, analyze, revise, and update bus runs, routes, and schedules for safety and maximum operating efficiency ensuring transportation service is safely and efficiently provided to all qualified students attending TUSD schools.

Requirements

Associates Degree in Logistics, Business, or a related field OR Two years of college (60 credit hours) coursework in a related field OR Five (5) years years experience in transportation routing, operational analysis, logistics planning, systems administration, or data analytics or related field.
Three (3) years of experience utilizing spreadsheet and word processing applications.
Verbal & written communication skills in English.
Demonstrated ability to read and comprehend written/graphic and oral instructions.
FBI fingerprint background check.
Proof of immunity to rubeola (measles) and rubella (German measles), or proof of MMR immunization.
Must submit to a post-offer/pre-employment drug/alcohol screen.

Nice To Haves

Experience in a school transportation environment.
Demonstrated knowledge of the Tucson Metropolitan area, to include Pima County.
Two (2) years experience utilizing computerized routing software application.
Knowledge of route planning and scheduling practices and procedures.
