About The Position

Midwest multi-disciplined engineering firm is looking to add a Transportation Project Manager to their Chicago team! This role involves supervising and overseeing transportation projects, leading a variety of projects and studies including roadway, underground utility, drainage, traffic, and infrastructure improvements. The position also focuses on building and maintaining municipal client relationships, assisting with developing new transportation project business, and managing local/Federal Aid projects for various clients such as local agencies, DOT, and/or Counties. Additionally, the role includes mentoring and training junior staff and assisting with staffing/hiring needs.

Requirements

  • B.S. degree in Civil Engineering
  • 5+ years of roadway/infrastructure design experience using IDOT standards
  • PE License
  • Experience completing IDOT Phase I Reports and IDOT Phase II bid documents
  • Successful applicant must be authorized to work in the USA without sponsorship.

Nice To Haves

  • MicroStation/Geopak capabilities preferred with an understanding of IDOT workflow

Responsibilities
