About The Position
Midwest multi-disciplined engineering firm is looking to add a Transportation Project Manager to their Chicago team!
Requirements
- B.S. degree in Civil Engineering
- 5+ years of roadway/infrastructure design experience using IDOT standards
- PE License
- Experience completing IDOT Phase I Reports and IDOT Phase II bid documents
- MicroStation/Geopak capabilities preferred with an understanding of IDOT workflow
- May require occasional travel to job sites, client meetings and evening functions
Responsibilities
- Supervise/oversee transportation projects
- Lead a variety of projects/studies (roadway, underground utility, drainage, traffic and infrastructure improvements)
- Build/maintain municipal client relationships
- Assist with developing new transportation project business including proposal/contract preparation, project staffing and project interviews
- Manage local/Federal Aid projects for a variety of clients (local agencies, DOT and/or Counties)
- Mentor/train junior staff
- Assist with staffing/hiring needs
- Develop design/quality control standards
