About The Position

Barry Isett & Associates (Isett) is seeking a Project Manager with 5 to 15 years of road and street design experience, including PennDOT approval experience, to join their growing transportation services department. This role offers the opportunity to step into a leadership position, mentor engineers, manage diverse transportation projects, and build client relationships. The position is based in any of Isett’s Northeast PA offices and involves delivering a full range of transportation services for municipalities, school districts, and private-sector clients. Isett is an employee-owned, multi-discipline engineering and consulting firm recognized for its award-winning culture.

Requirements

5 to 15 years of road and street design experience.
PennDOT approval experience.
B.S. in Civil Engineering or a related field.
Experience with AutoCAD Civil 3D or similar engineering software.
Technical knowledge and/or previous experience in transportation-related work.

Nice To Haves

Professional Engineer (PE) license preferred.

Responsibilities

Lead and mentor transportation engineers.
Manage a variety of transportation projects.
Build trusted relationships with municipal, institutional, and private-sector clients.
Strengthen project delivery.
Support staff development.
Contribute to the department’s continued impact in the communities it serves.
Deliver a full range of transportation services including traffic-calming design, intersection design, roadway design, trail & bikeway design, right-of-way conveyance coordination, existing pavement analysis, construction management, PennDOT Highway Occupancy Permitting (HOP), and railroad crossing design.
