About The Position

The Transportation Planning Representative supports Transportation Planning Specialists and Regional Delivery Managers with day-to-day transportation activities for the last mile network. The role tracks shipments, maintains delivery exception records and transportation systems, coordinates with internal teams to investigate and resolve issues, and ensures shipment costs are accurately recorded. This is a contract role based fully onsite in Mableton, Georgia.

Requirements

Associate degree required.
Excellent communication and customer service skills.
Ability to work with minimal supervision.
Ability to handle a fast-paced environment.
Working knowledge of Microsoft Office and excellent computer skills.
Ability to work irregular hours and overtime when needed.
Professional demeanor.
Strong Excel skills.
Data entry proficiency.

Nice To Haves

One year of related work experience or equivalent preferred.

Responsibilities

Track and trace all shipments.
Maintain delivery exception logs.
Update and maintain the Transportation Management System.
Partner with quality, postal, and security teams to investigate and resolve delivery questions and exceptions in accordance with standard operating procedures.
Ensure shipment costs are accurately captured in financial systems and reports.
Maintain vendor profiles in transportation and security systems.
Provide support to cross-functional teams.
Perform other duties as assigned.
