About The Position

This is professional services work in providing comprehensive transportation planning, research, evaluation, policy development, and oversight services in the Public Transportation Unit within the Maine Department of Transportation’s Bureau of Planning. Responsibilities include project and program management, grant management, policy development, financial management, and long-range planning related to public transit in Maine. Work is performed both as a group and independently with limited supervision.

Requirements

  • A six (6) year combination of education, training, and/or experience in planning and program development with specific background in specialized field as necessary (i.e. environmental planning, economic planning, historic preservation, etc.)
