About The Position

The Outbound Transportation Planner supports Cornerstone Brands (Frontgate, Ballard, Grandin Road and Garnet Hill) and its Transportation Operations in a shared services/multi-brand or direct to consumer/ecommerce environment. This environment has an emphasis on large packages, motor freight home delivery. You will report to the Manager of Home Delivery. This role is hybrid and will require you to be onsite at our West Chester, OH office, several days per month. Relocation assistance is not available for this role.

Requirements

Bachelor's degree in logistics, operations, transportation, supply chain, analytics, business management, or related field, or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
2+ Years' Experience in Furniture Logistics or Residential Delivery
Proficient with Microsoft Office suite with concentration in Excel (can perform complex functions)

Responsibilities

Coordinate shipments with our teams and service providers, including special and one-off requirements, while building strong cross-functional relationships.
Monitor, analyze, and communicate logistics performance metrics and operational challenges across multiple facilities and regions, ensuring accurate reporting and issue resolution.
Support the manager in establishing Key Performance Indicators for reviewing service provider performance and improving supply chain operations.
Address delivery network challenges by responding swiftly to operational issues, ensuring high service levels, and collaborating with diverse stakeholders.
