This role involves reviewing and analyzing bills of lading with identified receiving discrepancies (over, short, damage, refusals and/or wrong goods) for claim liability and making sound business decisions to mitigate or prevent loss. It also includes reviewing and reconciling transportation exception invoices for invoices not paid through our auto pay system to ensure payment accuracy, and reviewing and approving less-than-truckload freight invoices. The position requires effectively working with internal/external customers and suppliers to ensure accurate payment for transportation services and providing appropriate documentation to support financial recovery when appropriate.
