The mission of the Transportation Department is to provide safe, clean, efficient bus transportation to assist students in reaching their educational goals and to also support facility maintenance, grounds, custodial and educational programs with maintained fleet vehicles and equipment. The ideal candidate would be highly motivated and task oriented, with the capability to service, repair and inspect a large variety of different types of vehicles and equipment. The current regular work schedule is Monday through Friday, 6:30 a.m. to 3:00 p.m. During the summer, the work schedule changes to Monday through Thursday, 6:30 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. The work schedule may vary dependent upon District need and may include work on weekends, holidays, and on-call shifts.
