About The Position
National tire recycler has an immediate opening. We are seeking a highly organized, bilingual Transportation Manager to lead daily transportation operations, manage driver performance, optimize routing efficiency, and ensure compliance with all safety and DOT requirements. The ideal candidate is a strong leader who thrives in a fast-paced environment and can effectively communicate in both English and Spanish.
Requirements
- Strong knowledge of local and regional geography, route planning and transportation operations
- Fluent bilingual communication skills (Spanish and English) required
- Experience supervising drivers and transportation personnel
- Strong leadership and conflict resolution skills
- Knowledge of DOT regulations and transportation compliance requirements
- Experience managing driver performance and safety programs
- Proficiency with computerized routing and scheduling
Nice To Haves
- Experience with routing software such as AMCS is preferred
- Associates or Bachelors degree preferred; equivalent transportation management experience will be considered
