About The Position
The Transportation Lead will be responsible for generating and compiling transportation reports, checking in drivers, monitoring Samsara for violations, hours, issues, and MPG. This role involves fielding calls from drivers and sales representatives, tracking and reviewing errors, and maintaining driver equipment. The Lead will also back up routing and driver delivery routes, conduct road tests/interviews, and ensure safety compliance of drivers.
Requirements
- Ability to write reports, business correspondence and procedure manuals.
- Ability to define problems, collects data, establish facts, and draw valid conclusions.
- Ability to organize and manage multiple priorities and exercise effective time management.
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
- Computer proficiency with Microsoft Suite and Transportation specific programs.
- Commercial Drivers License (A)
Responsibilities
