About The Position

H&S Enterprises, Inc., working exclusively with Cash-Wa Distributing, is seeking a Transportation Lead in Salina, KS. This role involves overseeing and coordinating routes, training and developing drivers, ensuring efficient manpower utilization, and minimizing labor costs while meeting customer needs. Cash-Wa Distributing is a major privately-owned food service distributor in the Midwest, and their growth provides opportunities within H&S Enterprises. This is a full-time position with a focus on building relationships within a growing team.

Requirements

• 21 years old (interstate driving is possible)
• Current CDL License
• Have a good driving record

Nice To Haves

• Ability to regularly lift up to 50lbs
• Ability to occasionally lift up to 100lbs

Responsibilities

• Staff, train, evaluate and develop team members
• Ensure adherence to delivery standards, efficiencies and regulatory requirements
• Manage drivers' delivery schedules and hours worked
• Establish and maintain positive customer relationships, resolve customer issues
• Serve as liaison between transportation and sales in the territory
• Manage and audit team members timekeeping
• Cover routes when needed; i.e. team members PTO, sick, unfilled positions, etc.
• Perform annual reviews and wage adjustment suggestions
• Investigate and document as necessary for incidences and injuries, including retraining and/or disciplinary action
• Other administrative duties as necessary
