About The Position

Our experienced Transportation Planning and Traffic Team is seeking a civil engineering student to join our team in Houston to train and be mentored as a Traffic Engineering Intern. Work alongside our dynamic team and be exposed to many aspects of traffic engineering analysis, planning, and design. Receive real-world experience and training in industry-related design software such as Microstation, Synchro, VISSIM, SignCAD, and ArcGIS. Gain experience in the competitive consulting engineering industry. The successful candidate will be a strong team player with a commitment to becoming a key member of this highly productive design team. Requirements

Must be pursuing a civil engineering degree from an ABET accredited program.
Strong interest in pursuing transportation engineering with a focus on traffic engineering.
Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite.
Strong communication (written/oral), problem solving, analytical and creative thinking skills.
Ability to work independently and within a team (both remotely and in-person).

Nice To Haves

Prior intern experience, coursework, and research in traffic engineering.
Familiarity with traffic analysis software.
