About The Position

This person is responsible for the supervision of day-to-day review and consolidation of all Fresh Meats documentation in order to provide complete accurate and timely document sets to our international customers. Leads the corporate user training, maintenance, and continuous program development of several automated network export documentation systems for over 60 Tyson owned and contracted shipping locations. Auditing plant and warehouse export documentation processes and producing accompanying recommendations based on findings or repeated deficiency occurrences. Interview, train, and supervise numerous management support team members who conduct all required document preparation review documentation changes etc. Other duties as required.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree preferred.
  • 3 plus years experience; some international operational experience preferred.
  • Basic knowledge of Microsoft Word and Excel.
  • Effective verbal and written communication skills.
  • Highly motivated with strong problem-solving skills.
  • Extensive knowledge of federal export documentation homeland security and foreign commerce regulatory requirements.
  • Responsible for supervising and training several Team Members.
  • 1-4 trips per year.

Responsibilities

  • Coordinate department efforts to meet specific document performance goals.
  • Supervise and train several management support team members who do the actual document review.
  • Generate and manage daily exception reports to identify shipping orders that need to be addressed or expedited.
  • Work with all shipping locations to expedite documents advise of new documentation requirements resolve issues as necessary.
  • Communicate on a regular basis with USDA to stay informed on new country requirement.
  • Review, analyze, and approve related weekly and monthly invoice payments for assigned vendors.
  • Auditing plant and warehouse export documentation processes and producing accompanying recommendations based on findings or repeated deficiency occurrences.
  • Interview, train, and supervise numerous management support team members who conduct all required document preparation review documentation changes etc.
  • Other duties as required.
