About The Position

FuntoNetwork is seeking a Transportation Environmental Planning Specialist for an active RFP opportunity: Environmental Process and Procedures Manual Development Services to Support NEPA Assignment Application. The South Dakota Department of Transportation (SDDOT) is seeking consultant support to develop and update environmental processes, procedures, manuals, QA/QC processes, and training for NEPA Assignment. This role involves aligning environmental procedures with transportation project delivery workflows and agency coordination steps. The specialist will review the RFP scope, source posting, supporting documents, deadline, and client requirements, and coordinate with FuntoNetwork and related consultants to support a complete, professional response. Responsibilities include preparing documentation, analysis, recommendations, deliverables, or technical inputs related to the role, and communicating clearly with technical and non-technical stakeholders. Support for quality control, status updates, and final submission readiness is also expected.

Requirements

• Relevant experience for this RFP-based role.
• Strong written communication, documentation, and stakeholder coordination skills.
• Ability to work against proposal deadlines and client requirements.
• Attention to detail and ability to follow structured submission requirements.
