About The Position

Stanley Consultants is seeking a motivated and ambitious Engineer-In-Training for their West Palm Beach office. This role offers the opportunity to gain meaningful engineering experience on highway projects, including roadway studies and design, drainage and utility systems, preliminary and final design, preparation of construction documents, cost estimates, project scheduling, and large, complex highway corridors. The position involves collaborating with and learning from experienced Professional Engineers and being mentored by industry leaders in transportation. Responsibilities include supporting engineers on transportation design projects, developing plans for horizontal and vertical geometry, cross sections, earthwork modeling, 3D roadway modeling, quantities calculations, construction specifications, and utility coordination. The role also involves contributing to diverse client bases and community projects.

Requirements

  • Bachelor of Science degree in Civil Engineering from an ABET accredited engineering program.
  • Engineer Intern (EIT) registration required, or ability to obtain within 3 months of hire.
  • 0-2 years of civil engineering experience, prior relatable internship/co-op experience preferred.
  • Proven communication, collaboration, and teamwork skills.
  • Self-motivated and adaptable to evolving client, project, and industry needs.
  • Experience with or capable to learn Bentley OpenRoads Designer and Autodesk Civil3D.
  • Experienced in and fully capable of using the Microsoft software suite including Word, Excel, and Power Point.
  • Ability to work remotely based on business operations and the needs of the firm.
  • Proven strong work ethic and a collaborative team player.
