About The Position
The Lodge at Old Trail in Crozet, VA is seeking a part-time Transportation Driver to join their team. This role involves providing safe and reliable transportation for residents to appointments and other destinations, assisting with loading and unloading mobility equipment, and adapting to itinerary changes. Requirements
- Valid driver's license
- Ability to lift 20 lbs (rollators, walkers, wheelchairs)
- Flexible when itinerary changes occur
- Ability to work flexible hours
- Must have the ability to pass a background check.
Nice To Haves
- Experience driving a 14-passenger van is preferred.
Responsibilities
- Provide safe, reliable transportation for residents.
- Ensure residents arrive comfortably and on time for scheduled appointments and destinations.
- Assist with loading and unloading mobility equipment, such as rollators, walkers, and wheelchairs.
- Maintain flexibility as itineraries change.
- Create a positive experience for every passenger through professionalism and attention to detail.
