About The Position

This role is responsible for providing efficient and safe transportation services to eligible patients. The job requires extensive driving between and around communities, hospitals, and other medical provider facilities, in all types of weather and road conditions. The driver will also need to push and bend to assist disabled patients when transporting them to and from their destinations. Additionally, the driver will complete appropriate reports, maintain vehicle cleanliness, and ensure the vehicle is stocked with necessary PPE.

Requirements

• Valid Driver's License.
• Eligible for tribal insurance.
• Must maintain a valid driver's license during employment.
• Must be insurable by Tribal First Insurance.
• Ability to work evenings, weekends and holidays.

Responsibilities

• Provide efficient and safe transportation services to eligible patients.
• Drive extensively between and around communities, hospitals, and other medical provider facilities.
• Drive in all types of weather and road conditions.
• Push and bend to assist disabled patients when transporting to and from destination.
• Complete appropriate reports at the end of the workday.
• Work any shift assigned.
• Keep vehicles clean inside and out at all times.
• Ensure the vehicle is stocked with PPE (masks, gloves, disinfectants spray, emesis bags, hand sanitizer).
• Perform other duties as assigned.
