About The Position

Under the general direction of the Life Enrichment Director, the Transportation Driver is responsible for enriching the lives of residents. This role involves providing transportation for group events and personal appointments, engaging in prospective resident visits, and performing welcome orientations for new residents. The driver will also be responsible for scheduling weekend activities, updating seasonal/holiday decorations, and overseeing the volunteer program. A key expectation is obtaining a chauffeur's license within 90 days of hire, as the role includes driving a 14-passenger bus for 16 hours or less per week. The position requires representing American House professionally in all community events and notifying the Life Enrichment Director of emergency situations.

Must be able to drive a 14 passenger bus.

Nice To Haves

Proficiency with software applications/programs/tools used by American House for Life Enrichment position.
Use of iPad to enrich the lives of our residents and photos for community TV’s and Facebook.
Programs for the month should be based on the Whole Person Wellness Model and should incorporate at least 2 of the 6 experiences (Intellectual, Social, Emotional, Vocational, and Spiritual).
