About The Position

This Operations Coordinator role serves as a key point of contact for drivers, customers, and internal leadership across the West Region. Responsibilities include providing exceptional customer service, coordinating and assigning driver routes, supporting light dispatch operations, responding to and resolving customer inquiries received via email, and proactively addressing operational issues as they arise. The position also provides administrative support to supervisors and managers, helping ensure efficient day-to-day operations while maintaining compliance and communication standards for federally regulated drivers. The ideal candidate is highly organized, detail-oriented, and capable of managing multiple priorities in a fast-paced transportation and logistics environment.

Requirements

  • H.S. diploma/GED required
  • Two (2) years or more administrative and clerical support experience required
  • Demonstrates customer service skills
  • Must have customer service skills and telephone etiquette
  • Highly thorough and dependable

  • Must have sense of humor, work/life balance and decision quality
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills

Responsibilities

  • Provides administrative support to the department: filing, opening mail, typing and answering phones.
  • Performs clerical functions including receiving, classifying, reconciling, consolidating and summarizing of documents and information.
  • Maintains records or logs.
  • Verifies completion and accuracy of information.
  • Sets up and maintains files and records.
  • Provides exceptional customer service.
  • Coordinates and assigns driver routes.
  • Supports light dispatch operations.
  • Responds to and resolves customer inquiries received via email.
  • Proactively addresses operational issues as they arise.
  • Provides administrative support to supervisors and managers.
  • Ensures efficient day-to-day operations.
  • Maintains compliance and communication standards for federally regulated drivers.
  • Performs other duties as assigned.
