Requirements

  • Strong ability to multitask and manage time effectively in a fast-paced environment
  • Ability to handle stressful situations and make sound decisions under pressure
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to build positive working relationships
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook)
  • High level of attention to detail and organizational skills
  • Flexibility to adapt to changing operational needs
  • Physical ability to sit, stand, and walk for extended periods as required
  • Valid driver’s license
  • Willingness to learn, grow, and take on new responsibilities
  • Availability to work extended hours and weekends as needed

Nice To Haves

  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • Self-motivated with a strong work ethic
  • Previous experience in the transportation or logistics industry (preferred but not required)

Responsibilities

  • Coordinate and manage driver schedules, routes, and assignments
  • Schedule freight pickups and deliveries to ensure on-time service
  • Monitor and review driver logs for accuracy, completeness, and compliance
  • Provide customers with accurate pickup and delivery updates
  • Maintain detailed and accurate records of freight requests and transactions
  • Communicate effectively with customers regarding shipment status and inquiries
  • Collaborate with internal teams, including dispatchers, managers, and other departments
  • Accurately track freight revenue and maintain supporting documentation
  • Organize and file Bills of Lading (BOLs) and other required paperwork
  • Provide ongoing support and guidance to drivers
  • Coordinate with maintenance teams to schedule vehicle service and repairs
  • Address customer concerns promptly and professionally
  • Ensure compliance with all safety policies and regulations
  • Perform additional duties as assigned by supervisor
  • Abide by all safety regulations to ensure safety of oneself, coworkers and customers
  • Other duties as assigned
