About The Position

This position involves supporting daily transportation operations, including communication, dispatching, and administrative duties. The role requires proficiency with computer and communication systems, and the ability to obtain a Commercial Driver's License (CDL) with training provided upon hire. This is a part-time role, with approximately 2-3 hours of work per day.

Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Proficiency with basic computer programs and multi-line phone/radio systems.
• Valid driver’s license (must be willing and able to complete CDL training).
• Must successfully pass required background checks and background clearances.

Nice To Haves

• A Commercial Driver’s License (CDL) is not required to start; training will be provided to help you obtain your CDL upon hire.

Responsibilities

• Answer phone calls and monitor two-way radio communications with bus drivers, district personnel, and parents in real time.
• Assist in managing route schedules, tracking daily driver coverage, and resolving routine operational issues as they arise.
• Serve as an active operational team member.
• Complete various office tasks as assigned, including record-keeping, maintenance of route logs, and administrative support for the Transportation Director.
