About The Position

This is structure craftwork of a supervisory nature that may involve the maintenance, repair, and rebuild of heavy vehicle, automotive, and construction equipment. Work may include diagnosing mechanical and electrical problems, evaluating overall condition, and directing and assigning the repair of heavy vehicle, automotive, and construction equipment. Work is performed under limited supervision.

Requirements

  • Two-year combination of experience, or education in highway/bridge construction, fleet equipment repair, or transportation related maintenance
  • At least one year of lead worker experience
  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • Valid Class A motor vehicle license as issued by the State of Maine
  • Completion of the 30 hour OSHA Safety course in construction (20 CFR Part 1926)
  • U.S. Citizens, Permanent Residents, or H-2A, H-2B, or E-2 visa holders will be eligible for new or renewed CDLs.
