About The Position

Vivera Senior Living of Jeffersonville is seeking a part-time Transportation Coordinator to assist residents with transportation needs. This role involves ensuring residents can safely attend appointments and activities, maintaining the cleanliness and upkeep of the transportation vehicle, and efficiently coordinating routes and schedules. The ideal candidate will possess excellent communication and organizational skills, a valid driver's license, and a compassionate demeanor when interacting with the senior population.

Requirements

High School graduate or GED equivalent required
Must hold valid driver’s license
Minimum age of 21 years or older preferred with driving record in good standing
Intermediate computer skills required
Exceptional interpersonal and communication skills
Must demonstrate the ability to serve with love, compassion, and dignity

Nice To Haves

Prior experience in driving an Activity bus for the senior population is preferred

Responsibilities

Assist residents on and off the bus, using the vehicle lift, when necessary
Walk residents into their appointment, picks them up from their appointments
Maintains cleanliness of interior and exterior of the bus
Completes any forms necessary for upkeep of bus
Responsible for taking transportation requests and keeping track of all appointments
Ability to coordinate multiple transportation requests in one day and accommodate all requests in a reasonable manner
Ability to organize and coordinate directions to maintain the most efficient route
Maintain a calm and professional demeanor when driving the Activity Bus, which supports team performance and productivity
