About The Position

The Transportation Construction Manager in District 6 is responsible for administering various construction projects, including paving, bridge work, and major interchange enhancements. This role involves solving problems and resolving issues to ensure all projects meet ODOT’s high standards. The manager will work collaboratively with a dedicated team to achieve high-quality projects built on time, serving the traveling public.

Requirements

• Able to multi-task and shift priorities quickly
• 24 months training or 24 months experience in construction management or construction engineering technology and related safety practices
• 12 months training or 12 months experience in supervisory principles and techniques
• 6 months training or 6 months experience in reading survey and/or construction plans
• Valid driver’s license
• Completion of undergraduate core program in Construction Management or Construction Engineering Technology
• Or equivalent of Minimum Class Qualifications For Employment noted above
