About The Position

This is a full-time Transportation Clerk position based in Mechanicsburg, PA. The role involves coordinating the transportation of vehicles to the auction by contacting repossession agents and dealers to schedule vehicle pickups. The Transportation Clerk will liaise with banks, repossession agents, and the transportation manager to provide estimated times of arrival (ETAs) and report any arising issues. Requirements

High School Diploma or equivalent
Proficient in Microsoft Outlook
Strong Administration skills
Excellent communication skills
Detail Oriented with strong organization skills
Strong attention to timelines
Must be at least 21 years of age
Must be able to read, write, and speak English fluently
Valid driver's license and good driving record
Employment contingent upon successful completion of a background check and drug screen

Nice To Haves

Proficiency in Excel & Word
Familiarity with towing equipment and vehicle maintenance
Familiarity with auctions and repossession

Responsibilities

Emailing banks, repossession agents, and dealers to communicate ETAs
Calling repossession agents to qualify and schedule vehicles
Reporting any issues with the Transportation Manager and Communicating issues through various programs
Communicating with Rollback and Van drivers
Creating and checking paperwork to give to drivers for accuracy
Following up with vehicles that have issues to ensure they are transported to auction in a timely manner
Other duties as assigned by management.
