About The Position

Responsible for the daily/weekly maintaining of pallet tracking (where applicable), audit of driver logs and trip reports, log and driver file DOT requirements tracking. Acts as a liaison for internal customer support. Tracks all return goods as directed by the customer for close out of returns from the private fleet. This position involves various office and administrative duties, including but not limited to accounts payable/receivable and collections, payroll, fuel reconciliation, office supplies, billing, database maintenance, and miscellaneous reporting. It also includes auditing logs and trip reports, maintaining DOT reporting and files, customer service interaction, resolving driver equipment requests, and pallet tracking. The role requires maintenance and distribution of route books, daily interface with drivers, and assistance with driver coverage for vacation and overflow freight. The associate will involve the Safety team as required by location, prioritize workload, and be flexible to adjust based on position requirements. Maintaining confidentiality is essential. Other projects and tasks may be assigned by the supervisor.

Requirements

  • 2 years of general office experience required
  • 1 year of customer service experience required
  • High School diploma or equivalent required
  • Advanced computer skills including Microsoft Word, Excel, Outlook and PowerPoint required
  • Regular, predictable, full attendance is an essential function of the job
  • Willingness to travel as necessary
