About The Position

The Transportation Cleaning Attendant maintains a presentable and sanitary environment for patrons and passengers by thoroughly inspecting, sanitizing, and cleaning Fleet and Transit vehicles daily. The position is on campus and supports campus customers.

Requirements

• High school diploma or GED.
• Must be at least 18 years old.
• Valid driver's license and a motor vehicle record (MVR) compliant with the University's Driving for University Business SAP.
• Reliable and dependable.
• Able to work with limited supervision.
• Strong attention to detail.
• Excellent communication skills.
• Exceptional time management skills.
• Intermediate computer skills.
• Must be available to work and perform essential job functions on campus.

Nice To Haves

• Previous cleaning experience.
• Knowledge of proper chemical safety procedures.

Responsibilities

• Inspect, sanitize, and generally clean Fleet and Transit vehicles daily.
• Wash and sanitize vehicle interior windows, seats, dashboards, walls, ceilings, floors, and other high-touch areas.
• Clean the exterior of vehicles.
