About The Position

Valiant is looking for a Transportation Cell Leader to join our team! This role serves as the transportation management coordinator for the RSOI&R, coordinating efforts, monitoring, controlling, and supervising the movement of personnel, equipment, and cargo by ground or air. The position determines the most efficient mode of transport to accomplish mission requirements in accordance with the Statement of Work. It also assists in the administrative, technical, and operational aspects of the Transportation organization, supervises, trains, and manages all assigned Transportation personnel, and holds first-line supervisory responsibilities. The role performs other duties as assigned in accordance with Mission Support Contract requirements.

Requirements

• Ability to obtain and maintain a Secret clearance, Active Secret preferred.
• High School Diploma or equivalent.
• Prior Senior NCO or Officer with tactical transportation management experience or civilian/government equivalent.
• Previous supervisory experience.
• Must be able to travel unaccompanied throughout the continental US, and foreign Countries.
• Individual must submit to and pass initial drug screening; will be subject to random drug screening.
• Possess a valid state driver’s license and CDL, or be able to obtain a CDL with Hazardous material endorsement.
• Must be able to work shift work and weekends

Nice To Haves

• Supervisor in transportation and Heavy Truck Driver management.
• Supervision of more than 50 heavy truck drivers.

Responsibilities

• Serves as transportation management coordinator for the RSOI&R.

• Determines the most efficient mode of transport that accomplishes mission requirements in accordance with the Statement of work.
• Assists in the responsibility for the administrative, technical and operational aspects associated with the Transportation organization.
• Supervises, trains and manages all assigned Transportation personnel
• First line supervisory responsibilities.
• Performs other duties in accordance with Mission Support Contract requirements as directed.
• Other duties as assigned.
