Transportation Bridge Engineer IV
About The Position
We are currently seeking a Bridge Engineer with 5–7 years of related experience to join our growing team in our Cobb County office. The ideal candidate is ready to take the next step in their career by contributing to bridge design and analysis, supporting bridge maintenance inspection work, coordinating with multidisciplinary teams, and leading project delivery for the firm’s Bridge Practice. In this role, the successful candidate will work on a variety of bridge and transportation projects across multiple markets and geographies, including design, analysis, inspection, and maintenance-related assignments. This position offers opportunities to broaden technical knowledge, strengthen design and inspection judgment, and grow into increasing project responsibility. We are seeking a collaborative, self-motivated engineer who produces high-quality work, communicates effectively, and is eager to continue developing professionally.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s Degree in Civil or Structural Engineering from an accredited college or university
- 5–7 years of related bridge design experience
- Experience supporting bridge design calculations, plan production, technical reports, quantity estimates, and coordination with project teams
- Ability to work well in a team environment
- Ability to manage multiple assignments
- Ability to communicate clearly
- Ability to produce high-quality work with attention to detail
Nice To Haves
- PE license preferred; or active pursuit of PE licensure will be considered
