About The Position

Givens Aldersgate is looking for a Transportation Manager to support our transportation team. In this role, you will oversee the overall operations of the transportation department and organizational fleet management. Givens Aldersgate is a senior housing organization committed to providing housing to seniors of all socioeconomic backgrounds across WNC. They have five communities and plans for more.

Requirements

High School or Equivalent
2+ years of leadership experience
2+ years of transportation experience

Responsibilities

Coordinate and work with outside partners in the overall fleet management
Supervise and lead members of the transportation team
Participate in hiring, training, coaching, counseling, and discharging employees in accordance with company policies and guidelines
Ensure all transportation staff maintain licenses and certifications
Oversee the transportation budget and implement cost-saving measures without compromising service quality
Use technology to maintain the organization’s transportation schedule, track mileage, track fuel cost and vehicle performance
Schedule and accommodate appropriate social outings and trips for residents
