Transportation Aide
About The Position
This position involves working with children and/or adults who have developmental disabilities. The Transportation Aide will work aboard buses transporting passengers with developmental disabilities. This is a 9-month position with approximately 5 hours of work per day, during early morning and late afternoon. The role requires the ability and willingness to be trained and certified in Medication Administration Category 1 as authorized by the Ohio Department of Developmental Disabilities. A demonstrated commitment to valuing diversity and contributing to an inclusive working environment, as well as the ability to engage others with understanding and empathy, are essential.
Requirements
- Work aboard buses transporting passengers with developmental disabilities.
- Limited daily hours of work during early morning and late afternoon.
- Ability and willingness to be trained and certified in Medication Administration Category 1 as authorized by Ohio Department Of Developmental Disabilities.
- Demonstrated commitment to valuing diversity & contributing to an inclusive working environment.
