About The Position
We're looking for a responsible, compassionate PRN Transportation Aide to join our team in ensuring residents make it to medical appointments and community outings safely and comfortably. You will play a key role in supporting the mobility and independence of our residents by helping Transportation Coordinator with operating transportation services. If you enjoy meaningful work and working one-on-one with individuals, this could be a great fit for you!
Requirements
- Valid driver's license required
- Must be able to pass a background check
- Must obtain or possess a For-Hire Endorsement
- Ability to lift and assist with resident transfers (training provided if needed)
- Strong communication, organizational, and problem-solving skills
Nice To Haves
- CNA license preferred but not required upon hire
Responsibilities
- Ensuring residents make it to medical appointments and community outings safely and comfortably.
- Supporting the mobility and independence of our residents.
- Assisting the Transportation Coordinator with operating transportation services.
Benefits
- Shift differential for transports after 5:00 PM or on weekends
- Minimum 4 hours' pay guaranteed if called in for a transport while on-call
