Transportation Aide/Driver- Motor Service LIFE, Full-Time, Williamstown/Vineland
About The Position
Under the direction of the Transportation Manager or designee, the Transportation Aide/Driver is responsible for "Door through Door" escorting participants being transported by LIFE on the Transport bus or van. This role also involves delivering medications, medical equipment, food, or other supplies as needed. The aide may accompany participants on medical specialist visits when necessary. The position requires the safe operation of a vehicle transporting 7 passengers or less weighing under 10,000 lbs. The aide assumes responsibility for communicating and/or delegating patient care to the Transportation Manager, designee, or IDT. As a multisite provider of PACE community-based services for seniors in Cumberland, Gloucester, and Salem Counties, an Inspira LIFE employee may work at either or both the Vineland or Williamstown LIFE Program as census changes or operational needs occur to meet the needs of our participants.
Requirements
- High School Graduate/ GED.
- Minimum of 1 year working with the frail or elderly.
- Valid NJ Driver’s license.
- Proof of insurance.
- Reliable means of transportation.
- Maintain a Safe driving record, as per fleet safety policy guidelines.
Nice To Haves
- CDL Class C license with passenger endorsement preferred.
