About The Position

NorthEast Electrical is looking for a Full-Time Transportation Administrator to join our growing team in Brockton! This role involves a variety of clerical and administrative duties related to the functions of the Transportation Departments and the Quality Care Department. The position requires interaction with sales, purchasing, and other CDC personnel. The work environment is a warehouse where the noise level is usually moderate.

Requirements

Ability to organize, multi-task, research, and adapt quickly to changes.
Working knowledge of Eclipse and Job Queues.
Positive attitude, strong work ethic, and reliability.
Able to provide a high level of customer service.
Excellent verbal and written communication skills are essential.
Must be organized with a strong attention to detail.
Strong knowledge of Microsoft Office Applications especially Outlook and Excel.

Product knowledge is desirable.

Responsibilities

Perform dispatch needs such as ETA requests by sales and service failure call-ins from drivers.
Assist with transportation communication both inbound and outbound.
Maintain, scan and close manifest daily.
Record and track daily metrics (# of stops, hours, and miles).
Assist the Quality care department as needed with job queues, returns, ICQA, etc.
Assist with routing as needed.
Monitor and maintain documents/processes regarding DOT Compliance.
Perform other related duties as required or directed by the Transportation Manager.
