About The Position

As a Transport Support Worker, you will provide transportation and visitation support for children and families involved in the child welfare system. This role is critical in promoting the well-being of children, and involves participation in staff meetings and trainings, as well as coordination with other agencies providing Permanency Services. The ideal candidate is a compassionate, eager-to-learn individual who is passionate about helping families in times of crisis. You will work to build healthy, long-lasting relationships by connecting families to resources that improve their lives. Strong communication skills (both verbal and written), flexibility, punctuality, and a commitment to advocacy for children and their families are essential.

Requirements

  • High School Diploma or equivalent
  • Two years of experience in child and family services
  • Strong communication skills (both verbal and written)
  • Flexibility
  • Punctuality
  • Commitment to advocacy for children and their families
  • Evening availability is required for at least one day a week
  • Working at least one day per weekend
